Either. Most projects here are the whole thing — a React Native or Flutter app plus the Laravel API it runs on — but a mobile team that already has the front end covered can hand me just the backend: authentication, subscriptions, media, push and real-time, delivered as a documented REST API.

I have shipped production apps in both, so the answer is decided by your team, not my preference. React Native when you have JavaScript or React people who will maintain it, or web code worth sharing. Flutter when one codebase with heavy custom UI matters more than sharing with the web. I will tell you which on the first call.

The app keeps its own local store and queues every write while the connection is down. When it returns, the queued changes are sent in order and reconciled against the server, with conflicts resolved by rules agreed up front rather than silently overwritten. It is the pattern behind the inspection and field-work apps in the portfolio.
