Location-based treasure hunt with real cash and merchant prizes
A geocaching-style game where players follow clues and hints to physical locations to claim merchant loot and cash prizes, with businesses and hunts managed from an admin panel.
When a prize has real cash value, location verification stops being a UX detail and becomes the security boundary — the whole game rests on a player genuinely being where they claim.
Built the hunt model so administrators could define businesses, hunts, clues and hints independently, with prize claiming gated on server-side location verification rather than trusting the client.
Businesses can run their own hunts with real prizes, and players claim them by physically reaching verified locations.
