Lead management platform upgraded across three major Laravel versions

A large-scale lead management system, brought from Laravel 5 up to Laravel 8 while continuing to run.

01 — Challenge

Three major framework versions behind, on a system handling leads at volume. Nothing about the upgrade could interrupt the pipeline the business ran on.

02 — Approach

Worked through the upgrade incrementally rather than as a rewrite, taking the codebase from Laravel 5 to Laravel 8 while keeping the lead pipeline operating at scale throughout.

03 — Impact

The platform moved from Laravel 5 to Laravel 8 and stayed on a supported, maintainable framework version.
