I can get your application live. I am not your SRE.
There is a line between deploying an application competently and running infrastructure as a discipline. I am firmly on one side of it, and I would rather tell you which side before you find out during an incident.
What I do handle: getting a Laravel application deployed and running properly. Zero-downtime releases, queue workers and schedulers that survive a restart, database migrations that do not lock a table offline, backups that have actually been restored at least once, TLS, and enough monitoring that you learn about a problem before your customers explain it to you. I have automated cPanel and WHM provisioning end to end for a hosting platform, so server-side work is not foreign territory.
What I do not do: Kubernetes, multi-region architecture, infrastructure-as-code at scale, a 24/7 on-call rotation, or anything with a compliance auditor attached. Not because those are unlearnable, but because doing them occasionally is how outages happen. Infrastructure punishes part-time attention more than almost anything else in software.
When a project needs that, I bring in engineers from the partner firms I work with — the same arrangement described on the partners page. You interview them, you know exactly who employs them, and I stay accountable for the application itself. What I will not do is quietly widen my own scope and learn on your production environment.
- →Deployment, queue workers, scheduler, and backups for what I build
- →A named specialist introduced when the work exceeds that
- →A straight answer about which of the two your project needs
