Four-sided e-commerce marketplace: admin, agent, seller and buyer
An e-commerce platform with four distinct roles, where agents onboard sellers, sellers list their own products, and buyers purchase across the whole catalogue.
Four roles means four different views of the same data and four different sets of permissions. Agents onboarding sellers adds a hierarchy that the authorisation model has to respect at every read.
Built the role model so administrators manage the platform, agents onboard and manage their own sellers, sellers manage their own catalogue, and buyers purchase across all of it — with permissions enforced server-side rather than by hiding interface elements.
The platform runs a four-tier marketplace where each role sees and controls exactly its own scope.
