VEDUMI — storefront, commissions and admin platform for a resin art studio

Handmade resin art doesn't fit a generic storefront template. The same base piece — a wall clock, a nameplate, a pooja thali — comes in sizes, colours and finishes that each carry their own price, so the product model had to hold real variation, not one price per listing. A meaningful share of the business is also bespoke: customers commissioning a piece designed around their own space, colours and dimensions rather than buying an existing SKU, and corporate and bulk gifting orders that need custom branding and packaging outside the normal cart flow.

Built products around variants and price tiers instead of flat SKUs, so one artwork can carry multiple sizes and finishes at different prices without duplicating the product. Commissioning is a first-class flow, not a contact form bolted on afterwards — customers submit a request describing the space, colours and dimensions they want, and the studio manages it from an admin panel through to a priced order. Order and checkout handling, a content journal for the studio's process and story, and full catalogue, order and commission-request administration all run from one Laravel backend.

The studio runs its entire public storefront, commission pipeline and order administration on one platform — from a customer choosing a size and finish off the shelf, to a bespoke commission request becoming a priced, trackable order.
